- ➤ The Lehigh County coroner reported that three people (ages 60 to 84) died on Sunday while shoveling snow during the storm, with their natural deaths linked to sudden medical emergencies caused by strenuous activity. WFMZ

- ➤ The Pennsylvania Game Commission voted to keep the deer hunting season start date as the Saturday after Thanksgiving, set for Nov. 28, after rejecting a proposal for an earlier start. - ➤ Officials from the Lehigh County Authority urge residents to remove snow from fire hydrants so firefighters can quickly access water during emergencies; residents should clear a three-foot space around hydrants and a clear path to the street. WFMZ

- ➤ Miller-Keystone Blood Center says recent snow forced it to cancel several blood drives, leaving the center with a critical shortage. Health officials urge local donors to help meet the daily need of about 350 donations. WFMZ

- ➤ Blue Mountain Resort reopened Monday at noon after closing Sunday due to 18 inches of snow — making road travel unsafe. Local emergency crews reported extra calls during the storm and said the closure helped prevent accidents on steep roads. WFMZ
