  • First Watch will renovate the former Ruby Tuesday building on Emrick Blvd in Bethlehem Township, with township officials confirming the demolition permit has been secured. The Florida-based chain is expected to open late spring to early summer (its first in the region), replacing a space that sat idle since the restaurant closed.  Lehigh Valley Live
  • Kase announced today its new 167,085 sqft fulfillment facility at 2800 Liberty Drive in Northampton to reduce transit times and support swift distribution for retail and ecommerce brands in the Northeast, Midwest, and South Atlantic.  WFMZ

CULTURE NEWS

  • Toad The Wet Sprocket will perform at Musikfest Cafe at ArtsQuest Center (SteelStacks) in Bethlehem at 7 p.m. on July 12, and tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. at the ArtsQuest website or box office.  Lehigh Valley News
  • Modest Mouse is set to perform at Archer Music Hall in Allentown on Saturday, June 6, with tickets on sale Friday, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. The band’s show is a key summer event for local music fans.  WFMZ

ECONOMY NEWS

  • B. Braun and the Industrial Training and Education Consortium—iTEC—are training new manufacturing talent with apprenticeships that let workers learn every step of making key medical devices.   • Starting tomorrow, LANTA will reduce hours on six bus routes to conserve fuel amid a natural gas shortage. The change affects LANtaBus only + LANtaVan and LANtaFlex services will operate as usual.  WFMZ

  • At Lehigh, families help their college athletes by coming together on game days to cheer, share meals and boost team spirit (tailgate traditions add a warm community feel). Coaches and players say the strong family support makes every game a cherished event near Bethlehem.  The Brown and White
