- ➤ Touchstone Theatre will host its Winter Story Cabaret at Godfrey Daniels on Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. Local storytellers, including Mary Wright (a seasoned performer), will share true personal tales with a five-minute open mic slot for 10 community members. Bethlehem Press

- ➤ Eli Lilly and Company and local officials announced plans for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for injectable weight loss medications in Upper Macungie. Construction will begin this year, creating 850 pharmaceutical and 2,000 union construction jobs (boosting local economic activity) with operations set to start in 2031. Bethlehem Press

- ➤ The Bethlehem Planning Commission approved a plan for eight-unit apartments on West Union Boulevard last Thursday with design updates and parking changes. The city also said Chief of Engineering Basel Yandem will leave for a job in Washington (D.C.). WFMZ

- ➤ South Bethlehem's Winter Restaurant Week will run from Feb. 23 to March 1, inviting residents and visitors to sample limited-time menus and specials at participating restaurants and to enter a gift card giveaway by scanning a QR code. WFMZ
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The District 11 girls' wrestling championships take place this weekend at Freedom High School (quarterfinals at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, semifinals at 10 a.m. Sunday, finals at 2 p.m.), with the top three wrestlers in each weight class moving on to regionals on Feb. 22 in Quakertown. Bethlehem Press
- ➤ On Feb. 4, Freedom and Liberty’s girls swim teams met at Liberty in their final regular season meet, with the Hurricanes beating the Patriots 101 to 75. Liberty swimmers won all relays and several individual events, showcasing a strong team performance. Bethlehem Press
