- ➤ A sinkhole closed both travel lanes on the 2700 block of Newburg Road in Palmer Township Thursday afternoon and detoured traffic while authorities advised drivers to expect delays until further notice. WFMZ
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Industrial Archives and Library in Bethlehem received a 320 cu ft donation from NHS Corporation — a collection that documents 200 years of Niles machine tool history with photographs, sketches and documents on equipment used by railroads, Bethlehem Steel and the U.S. Navy and is available for public research. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ On March 5, B. Braun Medical Inc. announced it has signed renewable electricity purchase agreements to power its U.S. facilities with 100 percent renewable energy from later in 2026, cutting greenhouse gas emissions by over 30 percent as part of its plan to reduce emissions by 50 percent by 2030. - ➤ The Pennsylvania Treasury Department has chosen Vestwell to power PA ABLE, a tool for people with disabilities to save for essential needs. The program now lets persons with disability onset before age 46 take advantage of higher limits (up to $20,000) and follows new eligibility rules from Jan. 1. WFMZ
