  • Bethlehem’s Pennsylvania Playhouse opens its production of Fences, a play directed by local actor Adam Newborn that explores themes of family, love, and hidden truths. The show runs through April 13 with evening performances at 7:30 p.m.—and matinees at 3 p.m. on Sundays, with tickets starting at $25 for adults.  WLVR
  • Bethlehem nonprofit The Rising Sun Initiative, founded by Kari Holmes, will host the Her Story: Let the Mother Speak event on May 17 at the Bethlehem Area Public Library so African-American women can share their experiences with unequal healthcare. The event aims to highlight long-standing gaps in care that have hurt Black mothers and children — a call for change in how local systems treat all patients.  The Brown and White
  • On February 15, local musician Michael Rafalowich—known as DJ Big Sir—finished his R&B set at Mister Lee’s Noodles on East Third Street after diners had left and the restaurant closed.
