- ➤ Pennsylvania deer hunters ended the 2024-25 season with 476,880 whitetails—marking the fourth-highest total ever and featuring archery hunters who surpassed firearms for buck harvest for the first time. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Starting April 6 at 8 p.m., the Pennsylvania Turnpike will begin milling and repaving work at the Lehigh Tunnel, causing lane shifts that leave one lane open in each direction. The northbound tunnel will remain closed until 6 a.m. on April 9 and the southbound tunnel will shut from April 13 at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. on April 16—traffic will resume its normal flow after the work is completed.
