- ➤ Bethlehem’s 64th Annual Used Book Fair is at the Bethlehem Ice Rink today, where donors offer books, CDs, DVDs, and records that fund scholarships for about 20 high school graduates. The event supports local women through the AAUW (American Association of University Women) and began with a preview day last Thursday. WFMZ
- ➤ WFMZ's 10th Annual Food Truck Food Drive is set for Saturday, Apr. 25 at Dorney Park from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will collect food donations, including high-demand proteins, to help Second Harvest Food Bank & local pantries serving families. WFMZ
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ A celebration of America’s 250th birthday will take place Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum in Allentown, featuring booths from over 20 heritage groups and free admission (with the first 500 children receiving a commemorative coin set). WFMZ
- ➤ On Thursday, April 23, local historical societies hosted the free Allemaengel 250 event featuring reenactments of colonial figures, militia demonstrations and fife and drum shows alongside Liberty Bell displays, student projects and WK&S Railroad rides in the heart of Bethlehem.
