- ➤ The Lehigh Valley Humane Society seeks foster homes for kittens and dogs that need round-the-clock care during busy kitten season from April through October. The annual Garden Gala will take place Saturday, May 16 at Petersell 1808 House in Center Valley to benefit the shelter. WFMZ

- ➤ The USPS will add an 8% fuel surcharge on most packages starting Sunday (April 26) until Jan. 17, 2027 due to rising transportation costs. A local business banker warned the added fee may impact shipping costs for local businesses. WFMZ
- ➤ Moravian University announced it will end Barnes and Noble College Booksellers’ management of the Moravian Book Shop on Main St. and partner with ANC Consulting to oversee operations (America’s oldest bookstore) once the transition is complete by or before July 30, ensuring uninterrupted service for students, faculty, and local visitors. - ➤ Wren Kitchens has closed its U.S. locations including its Hanover Township showroom at Airport Shopping Center (once featuring over 40 kitchens and 17 design suites) and now directs customers for further assistance. WFMZ

- ➤ Northampton Community College received $401,907 + Lehigh Carbon Community College received $1,000,000, totalling $1,401,907, to expand dual credit programs that let high school students earn college credits; state senator Lisa Boscola announced the grants to make college more affordable in the region.
