- ➤ The Saucon Valley Farmers Market began its 20th season on Sunday in Hellertown with 30 vendors selling produce, wine and baked goods. New activities include wellness fairs, a Salsa Fest scheduled for September and a weekly Art Zone for kids to make Star Wars-themed crafts; the market runs on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. until November 23. - ➤ A Hellertown woman was convicted last week of theft and deceptive business practices in an estate sales scam that defrauded 15 victims out of over $35,000, and she will be sentenced on July 16 (she operated Bethlehem-based Top Notch Estate Sales). Lehigh Valley Live

- ➤ Pennsylvania Youth Theatre is preparing for its spring production of Mary Poppins by rehearsing in its new space—formerly the Light of Christ Lutheran Church bought last fall for $725,000. The show will run at the Charles A. Smith Ice House starting May 9 at 7 p.m. Lehigh Valley News
