  • Fostering Hope is hosting a National Foster Care Month drive at Palmer Moravian Church on John Street in Palmer Township where donations will include summer clothes + shoes, toiletries and more for children in foster care. Donations can be dropped off weekdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.  WFMZ

  • Economic Development Week begins May 4 in the Lehigh Valley as expanding companies, including Eli Lilly (investing $3.5b in a new pharmaceutical facility), launch projects adding 2,840 jobs.   • PennDOT is replacing the bridge over Leibert Creek on Indian Creek Road in Upper Milford Township (a $1.38 million project); the road closed between Cedar Crest Boulevard and Brookside Road Monday, April 27, with detours via Cedar Crest, Lower Macungie and Brookside until September and work ending by January 2027.  Lehigh Valley Live
