  • Discover Lehigh Valley held an event at Archer Music Hall during National Travel and Tourism Week where regional leaders unveiled a redesigned website and a new destination commercial that will air on streaming and social platforms.   • Two best friends started Lehigh’s GirlBoss Club in fall 2022 to help women learn finance and feel safe in male-dominated spaces — they handed leadership over to new co-presidents Kate Hirschen and Julia Pollak as they near graduation, and the club plans to revive free headshot events and resume resume workshops.  The Brown and White

  • Northampton County officials remind voters that Ballot-on-Demand for the May 20 Municipal Primary Election is available at the Elections Office on the Courthouse's lower level at 669 Washington Street in Easton until Tuesday, May 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.—voters must show ID to complete a ballot at the office or take it home and return it by 8 p.m. on May 20.  WFMZ

  • Lehigh junior Tyson Utesch is a pole vaulter with more than 13 million Instagram views who uses self-promotion to support his athletic career and launch his board game, GO-BETWIXT!. He balances sports, classes and his new business—he developed his game with help from the Baker Institute and plans to expand his brand soon.  The Brown and White
  • Senior rower Jenna O’Dell at Lehigh launched her podcast, The Mountain Hawk Talk, to share stories from student athletes across 24 varsity teams and rowed in Lehigh’s varsity eight-plus boat that earned Patriot League Boat of the Week honors. She grew from a nervous first-year to a confident leader and plans to pursue a career in sports journalism after graduation & credits valuable mentorship for her growth.  The Brown and White
