- ➤ The Lehigh Valley Bike to Work Week runs May 10–18 as the Coalition for Appropriate Transportation organizes group rides and a free Zoom webinar for riders aged 14 and older. Riders can join an 8:30 a.m. group ride from Sand Island Park, a noon webinar on May 12, a noon ride in Bethlehem with Mayor J. William Reynolds on May 15, and a noon ride in Allentown with Mayor Matt Tuerk. WLVR
- ➤ Residents returned Saturday to remove belongings from the 510 Flats — after last week's fire caused by improperly discarded smoking materials — with some noting missing running shoes valued at over $600. Project coordinator Steve Provost said the building will take six to nine months to restore and that seventy-five to eighty percent of the units will need complete gutting as residents adjust to changes. - ➤ Joyful Noise Music Festival is set for 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. June 14 at Univest Performance Center (501 W. Mill St) in Quakertown, featuring free concerts and inviting attendees to bring nonperishable food to support four local pantries; local guitar favorite Craig Thatcher is scheduled to perform at Bethlehem's Musikfest in August (12:55-1:55 p.m.).
