CRIME NEWS

  • Gunshots fired Wednesday evening at 9:30 p.m. at the Ridings at Brookside condo development in Macungie left one person critically injured and three homes targeted—authorities said no arrests have been made as police continue investigating the incident.  Lehigh Valley Live

CULTURE NEWS

  • Old Dominion, known for hits like Break Up With Him, Snapback, and Written in the Sand, will perform at the PPL Center on Sept 4 with singer-songwriters Ernest and Redferrin as supporting acts. Tickets will be available at 10 a.m. May 22 — both on the center's website and at the box office.  Lehigh Valley News

  • Kate Johnson, a Lehigh alumna and Lumen Technologies CEO, will speak at the 157th commencement ceremony at Stabler Arena on Sunday, May 18. She returns to Bethlehem with her husband Todd and their two children and will share her story of career pivots and quick learning—encouraging students to embrace change as they step into the future.  WFMZ

  • A water main break on Schoenersville Road was repaired Thursday morning, restoring water for all residents—however, the road at Illick's Mill Road remains closed today. Ed Boscola said he is meeting with PennDOT this morning to check the road’s condition.  WFMZ
