- ➤ Cornerstone Presbyterian Church will build a new facility in Center Valley & move from its current 2.11-acre site on Old Bethlehem Pike after selling the property for $2.2M to St. Luke’s University Health Network. The church will complete construction in two years to accommodate its growing 250-member congregation. Lehigh Valley Live

- ➤ ArtsQuest's new Creative Center in South Bethlehem is two-thirds complete, ahead of schedule and under budget. A soft opening is planned for November with a grand opening set for first quarter 2027, replacing the Banana Factory with 80,000 sqft of upgraded spaces (including classes, studios and retail). - ➤ Bethlehem’s National Museum of Industrial History is hosting a new exhibit called 'Cheers to 250: Brewing in America' today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibit has displays, beer tastings, food and music that show how beer shaped society and features many Yuengling artifacts. WFMZ
- ➤ Classical music fans can head to Miller Symphony Hall today at 7:30 p.m. for the Allentown Symphony Orchestra's performance of Gustav Mahler’s first symphony (To Hell and Back). - ➤ Kou's Kitchen, a family-owned restaurant, brought authentic African flavors to the 69 News at Sunrise kitchen Friday morning with air fried peanut butter spare ribs, vegetable cauliflower fried rice and grilled vegetables. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Shapiro administration extended the filing deadline for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program to Dec. 31, enabling eligible seniors + disabled residents to receive up to $1,000 back from their 2025 expenses. More than 400,000 applications have been received so far, though many qualified residents still must apply. Lehigh Valley Live

- ➤ Eligible seniors in Northampton County will soon get $25 produce vouchers from the Pennsylvania Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program; vouchers will be distributed in person by the Area Agency on Aging starting June 1 at its Bethlehem office (2801 Emrick Blvd), with proxy pickup available. - ➤ Northampton County and Habitat for Humanity Lehigh Valley approved a 12-acre site in Forks Township (located near Kesslersville Road) to build 25 affordable homes; each future homeowner will contribute 250 hours of sweat equity while construction begins soon with 2 million in ARPA funds. WFMZ
- ➤ Forks Township will hold a conditional use hearing on May 21 at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building at 1606 Sullivan Trail to consider building a 473,000 sqft warehouse on a 35-acre Dixie Cup site — the project is expected to create over 300 construction jobs plus 355 full-time positions. WFMZ
