Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival is starting its Play On! community tour today with a free performance of 'Much Ado About Nothing' at Emmaus Public Library at 3 p.m.—the tour will also feature shows at the National Museum of Industrial History on May 31 at 11 a.m. and at Allentown Public Library on June 6 at 3 p.m., with additional performances continuing through June 15.

Bethlehem’s Streets Maintenance Bureau has scheduled paving work on 29 trouble spots on the northeast, west and south sides, including Elizabeth Avenue from Chelsea to Linden, Seventh Avenue from Prospect to Lehigh, and Broadhead Avenue from West Third to Broadway through October.

City officials said the project will use over $4 million from the municipal budget—helping roads last up to 20 years and increasing paving output from 30 to 50 lane miles.
