- ➤ Police reported that a speeding driver in a Mercedes-Benz crashed on Route 22, killing one person and injuring others as he tried to pass another vehicle. A flood watch was in effect in Lehigh County from Friday 7:00 p.m. until Saturday 8:00 a.m. as heavy rain threatened to cause flooding in low-lying areas. WFMZ
- ➤ A high-speed crash on Route 22 near Hanover Township on Thursday night killed one Mercedes passenger and injured the Ford driver when the Mercedes tried to pass and hit a tree—state police said the Ford driver was taken to St. Luke’s University Hospital. Lehigh Valley Live
