- ➤ A colorful mural was unveiled on Friday at 313 Broadway across from Ideal Food Basket. Art teacher Carla Majczan and her students painted the work to show the need for healthy food in Bethlehem’s South Side — a designated food desert — and the project was supported by ArtsQuest, the Fine Arts Commission and the SouthSide Arts District. - ➤ Today, the Third Annual Ice House Jazz and Arts Festival is held at the Charles A. Brown Ice House on River St. in Bethlehem and features the Bill Goodwin Trio at 2 p.m., the Griffin Woodard Quartet at 3:15 p.m., a Lehigh Valley Students jam session at 4:30 p.m., and a final show by Moravian University faculty at 6 p.m.—the event also offers art exhibits and hands-on painting for both children and adults.
