- ➤ Bethlehem Rose Garden was approved for a $50,000 state grant to improve pathways, lighting, bike racks and litter bins, city officials said. The upgrade comes as the Mount Airy Neighborhood Association reports record farmers market turnouts (with up to 800 shoppers) and plans more community events. WLVR
- ➤ Bethlehem and Lehigh Valley partners will hold a free World Heritage Community Celebration on Sept. 6 from noon to 7 p.m. to honor the Moravian Church settlements’ global recognition.
