- ➤ Second Harvest Food Bank said Monday that federal funding cuts left its shelves nearly empty and that it lost all produce, meat, and dairy, prompting a call for donations. The food bank will rely more on dry goods and corporate gifts at its donation center at 6969 Silver Crest Road (Upper Nazareth Township) to help feed about 110,000 people each month. WFMZ

- ➤ Country singer Darius Rucker headlined Musikfest on Sunday at the 6,500-seat Steel Stage in Bethlehem, marking his fourth solo headlining event and additional shows with his band. - ➤ The Bethlehem Township Board of Commissioners approved an ordinance on July 21 that gives eligible volunteer firefighters a 100% property tax credit, fully reimbursing their township real estate taxes if paid on time and effective within five days. The board also discussed converting part of the Coolidge building at 2740 Fifth St. — currently leased for $1,500 a month — into a space for police training, but no official vote was taken. WFMZ
