- ➤ Caleb Thomas—an incoming Lehigh University basketball player from Kentucky—hosted a back to school event on Sunday at Official Cuts Barber Shop in Bethlehem where students from kindergarten to high school received free haircuts and backpacks. He said he brought the event to Bethlehem to share community joy and continue a family tradition from Louisville. WFMZ

- ➤ Kim Frailey will open her 3000-square-foot Three Hearts Event Center at 822 Nazareth Pike in Lower Nazareth Township on Oct. 4, offering a flexible space for weddings, parties and other celebrations—she has already secured necessary approvals and several bookings for later in October. - ➤ Officials in Lower Saucon Township reported that a water main broke at the intersection of Route 412 and Springtown Hill Road around 3 p.m. and that water will be shut off at 4:20 p.m. today for repairs—when service is restored, a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect. WFMZ
