- ➤ The Pines Dinner Theatre is hosting the Lehigh Valley premiere of the murder-mystery musical Lucky Stiff by Tony Award-winning creators Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, which runs from today until Oct. 25 at 315 S. Cedar Crest Boulevard in Allentown. The offbeat musical features a plot with mistaken identities — $6 million in diamonds and a corpse in a wheelchair — and offers several dining performance times. - ➤ Northampton County has scheduled a rain-or-shine Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off event for county residents at Northampton Community College at 3835 Green Pond Road in Bethlehem on Saturday, Oct 4. Online registration opens at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sept 4 and residents must register early because appointments are set every 15 minutes, with participants required to bring their confirmation email and proof of residency. - ➤ An Asian pest called crepe myrtle bark scale has been found in southeastern Pennsylvania and threatens to stunt and disfigure crepe myrtle trees. The bug was first seen in Texas and is now spreading to 18 states; sprays work best after eggs hatch from late May to early June. Lehigh Valley Live

- ➤ Palmer Township supervisors approved an ordinance that limits data centers to seven stories in the north industrial district — Forks Township will review a similar ordinance on Sept. 4 that limits data centers to six stories.
