- ➤ ArtsQuest officials announced that Oktoberfest will return to SteelStacks for its 15th year this October. The free festival will run from Friday, October 3 through Sunday, October 5 and will have a second weekend from Friday, October 10 through Sunday, October 12 — offering German food, music, and contests. - ➤ At Lehigh University, LUKA celebrates Filipino heritage by hosting events such as a Tinikling performance and Breakfast for Dinner to unite students from diverse backgrounds. - ➤ UGI Utilities will begin replacing the natural gas main in Bethlehem on September 8 with work scheduled Monday through Friday (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Officials say the underground project will finish by the end of September and may cause road closures, detours and brief interruptions in natural gas service on Second Street Ramp onto Brodhead Avenue and Brodhead Avenue between West Third Street and Broadway. - ➤ Route 22 will close overnight from 9 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday to allow crews to remove the old Farmersville Road bridge in Bethlehem Township—traffic will be detoured onto Route 191 and Route 33 as work continues on a $4.6 million replacement project that began last fall and will finish in October.
