- ➤ Bethlehem Police Department and Health Bureau are increasing efforts to relocate a homeless encampment under the Hill-to-Hill bridge by Dec.15 — Norfolk Southern issued a removal notice citing health and safety concerns — after community complaints. - ➤ A fire forced The Gemeral Store's first shop to close earlier this summer, but the family-run retailer will open a new store at 216 W. Broad St this November—community support from online and in-person shows helped it bounce back. WFMZ
- ➤ Bitty and Beau's Coffee in Bethlehem launched its seasonal fall menu today with drinks like Pumpkin Spice Latte topped with cinnamon and Maple Cream Cold Brew—staff say the new menu brings warm, autumn flavors to local customers while the shop employs more than 450 people with disabilities nationwide. - ➤ Bethlehem Area School District confirmed former Governor Wolf Elementary Principal Jodi Frankelli as its new chief pupil services officer on Monday night—she will serve from Nov. 11 to June 30.
