- ➤ UGI Utilities, Inc. will begin a natural gas main replacement project in Bethlehem on Monday, Sept. 15 as work starts on Brodhead Avenue from 4th Street to the 2nd Street Ramp across 3rd Street — officials say 3rd Street, Brodhead Avenue, and the 2nd Street Ramp will remain open with reduced lanes and the project is expected to finish early to mid October. - ➤ Community leaders, staff, and residents signed a steel beam Friday at Cedarbrook Senior Care in South Whitehall Township to mark a milestone in its renovation project. The beam will be hoisted next week as the four-story wing—set to add 240 new beds with private bathrooms—is expected to finish construction by fall. WFMZ
- ➤ The FDA has approved a self-administered nasal spray vaccine that will let healthy people ages two to 49 get a flu shot at home—this spray comes with two premeasured doses and is kept at the right temperature.
