- ➤ On Saturday, the final Tucker’s Toy Run — a 15-year fundraiser started by Rick Nauman — took place with about 1,000 motorcyclists riding and over 5,000 toys donated to pediatric patients at St. Luke’s. Over the years, the event raised roughly $550,000 and collected nearly 60,000 toys in honor of Nauman’s late friend Tucker Stuart. WFMZ

- ➤ Bethlehem’s Hawk Music began in 1973 as a family hub for music education and instrument repairs—serving local school kids and musicians. - ➤ ArtsQuest announced the 33rd annual Christkindlmarkt, presented by Univest Financial, will open on Nov. 14 with many new features including an expanded Winter Wonderland — free Friday admittance, a new home for St. Nick, over 170 artisan booths, and more than a dozen food vendors. - ➤ Bethlehem-born artist Chelsea Southard explained that her sculpture Down the Line pays tribute to Bethlehem Steel's railway routes and represents the choices we make every day. - ➤ At Lipkin Theatre in Bethlehem Township, Northampton Community College will present 'Walk On: An Evening of Songs & Stories' at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 — featuring live music and storytelling led by Emmy Award-winning Julia Urich. On Nov. 1 — Lafayette College hosted the Isidore String Quartet at the Williams Center for the Arts, where they performed works by Haydn and Gabriella Smith that blended classical sound with modern elements. - ➤ At Lehigh, Vote For Equality and Project 26 Pennsylvania are hosting voter registration events to prepare for Pennsylvania's Nov. 4 retention election for state Supreme Court Justices Christine Donohue, David Wecht and Kevin M. - ➤ Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors reported strong housing activity in September — closed sales increased 3.7% to 589 and the median sales price rose 2.5% to $352,500 in Lehigh and Northampton counties.
