- ➤ Tokyo-based Olympus Corp announced that it will cut 2,000 jobs worldwide in fiscal years 2026 and 2027 to save about 24 billion yen and boost its push to lead in endoscopy-enabled care while targeting a 5% revenue growth by fiscal 2029. The company, which currently has over 800 employees at its regional headquarters in Upper Saucon Township + a warehouse in Upper Macungie Township, said a state filing confirmed the planned cuts though it is unclear if any local workers will be affected.
