- ➤ The Bethlehem Area Public Library will hold its final 2025 book sale in its Main Branch (11 W. Church Street) where holiday books, DVDs, and CDs will be available. The sale runs from December 3rd from noon to 8 p.m. and December 6th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and most credit and debit cards will be accepted. Bethlehem Press
- ➤ By Dec. 15, the homeless encampment by Hill-to-Hill bridge will close due to health and safety concerns and its residents will be moved, putting pressure on Bethlehem’s Emergency Shelter. The shelter (with 70 beds available from Nov. 1 through April 30) expects to be full within the next month as both longtime and newly unhoused people seek help. The Brown and White
- ➤ Bethlehem non-profit Coalition for Appropriate Transportation will give away 110 refurbished bikes to local children this Christmas; volunteers will work 4 to 5 hours on each bike as part of a six-year program—one bike will be reserved for 6-year-old Naomi. WFMZ

- ➤ Halal Hilarity, a Muslim clean comedy show, will be held on November 29th at 7 p.m. in the Fowler Blast Furnace Room at SteelStacks in Bethlehem—headlined by local Lehigh Valley native Usman Habib and featuring Omar Regan and Delaware state rep Madinah Wilson-Anton—using humor to break down stereotypes. - ➤ Emmy Award-winning comedian John Mulaney will perform his stand-up tour John Mulaney: Mister Whatever at the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza during Musikfest, with a show scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026. - ➤ Weird Al Yankovic will headline Musikfest on Aug. 4 as part of his Bigger & Weirder Tour at the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza in Bethlehem — he will perform with special guest Puddles Pity Party — after ArtsQuest announced tickets are available to members now and for general sale starting Nov. 21. - ➤ Visiting professor Kasey Diserens Morgan brings her fieldwork experience from digs in Mexico to Lehigh’s archaeology program, where she teaches ethics and collaboration in three courses—she plans to return to Tihosuco annually for community-based projects. The Brown and White
- ➤ Bethlehem Area SD announced half days on Nov 24 and 25 with dismissals at 11 a.m. for high school, 11:30 a.m. for middle school, and noon for elementary, and will close schools Nov 26 to Dec 1—while also marking November as Native American Heritage Month. The district also scheduled holiday shopping at James Buchanan ES on Nov 22 from 1 to 4 p.m., recognized Freedom HS seniors at its Oct 20 board meeting, and featured the East Hills Band in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade as well as FHSTC's production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown on Nov 21, 22, and 23.
