- ➤ At Coca-Cola Park on Friday, the ninth annual Bob Price Memorial Turkey Drive donated 2,062 turkeys to 24 local organizations—including Cay Galgon Life House—to help families cope with rising food costs and food insecurity. - ➤ LVEDC’s Fall Signature Event, held Nov. 11 at Archer Music Hall in downtown Allentown, featured a Lehigh Valley trivia contest that drew about 450 participants and a panel of leaders from local companies sharing insights on the region's growth. - ➤ Doogie Horner, a Bethlehem native known for his run on America's Got Talent, will headline the fourth annual Winter WonderJam at Godfrey Daniels on Dec. 6 with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the show starting at 7 p.m.—tickets cost $20 for general admission and $7.50 for students and children while the event raises awareness for local shelters and food banks. - ➤ New federal legislation will ban 95% of hemp products, including dog treats, starting November 2026 and could force Easton's Homegrown CBD Store and other hemp businesses to close—legislators have a year to clarify legal hemp standards while owner Nicholas Martens said he would switch to coffee roasting if forced to stop selling his products. - ➤ Bethlehem officials announced that the new Walnut Street Garage opened downtown after nearly two years of demolition and building, offering 517 parking spaces and three retail spots—designed to boost foot traffic to nearby businesses. - ➤ Lehigh County Authority declared a drought watch for its service area because of dry weather and low rain and asked water customers to lower use by at least 5%. - ➤ Law enforcement officials held an annual road safety event at Moravian University on Friday to show college students the risks of drinking and driving through field sobriety tests and simulators. - ➤ Lehigh’s assistant athletic director said today that tickets for the 161st Rivalry game at Fisher Stadium in Easton are priced at $17.50 for Lafayette students and $27.50 or $37.50 for Lehigh students with bus while adult and alumni tickets range from $28.50 to $75. He added that 1,470 student tickets have been sold so far — and at least 21 buses are being planned to ease travel as some students express concerns over cost. The Brown and White
