Good morning, Bethlehem.

Local voices on the South Side shared their cherished holiday traditions during a neighborhood stroll, highlighting family road trips, youth skate sessions, and local cuisine & community kindness that make Bethlehem unique.

Straight No Chaser, featuring Forks Township's Walter Chase and Allentown's Jerome Collins, performed two holiday shows yesterday at Easton's State Theatre at 3 and 7 p.m. The group recently released its innovative album Holiday Road — reflecting its creative recording process during its tour.

Lehigh has a new Red Cross club led by junior Morgan Kennedy that is holding meetings with about 30 students as it seeks formal recognition.

The club aims to offer volunteer opportunities and strengthen ties with the Bethlehem community while planning blood drives and service events.

Lehigh Athletics opted out of the revenue-sharing NIL program along with the Patriot League, officials said, emphasizing a focus on academics and athletic participation for its 26 varsity sports (supporting over 700 athletes).

The decision reaffirms a traditional approach to intercollegiate competition amid evolving NIL rules.
